ECB STE SREP List of Variables Update
The ECB has updated the list of variables for STE SREP reporting. This list is used for all the SREP reporting templates. This change will be applicable for returns submitted from Q1 2024 onwards.
ECB Published Additional Data Quality Checks
The ECB has updated a set of extra data quality checks applicable for EBA reporting taxonomy frameworks. The changes will be applicable from June 30, 2024.
EC CESOP Validation Module v1.4.5 Update
On April 26, 2024, EC published an updated version of Validation Module with a user manual that checks whether data complies with the XML Schema. This validation module is used for submissions from March 31, 2024 onwards.
United Kingdom
BoE Statistical Taxonomy Forms Update
The Bank of England has published Statistical Notice 2024/07. The Bank of England Levy replaced the Cash Ratio Deposit scheme. To reflect this change, BoE has updated the guidance notes and classification of accounts for all statistical forms along with the definitions and cross validations for forms ELS and BT. The changes are applicable from March 31, 2024.
Common Reporting Standard: HMRC has issued the International Tax Compliance (Amendment) Regulations 2024 (they come into force May 14, 2024)
“These Regulations introduce a new regulation 1(3)(b) into the International Tax Regulations 2015 (“the principal regulations”).
The notice specifies that the agreements made by the UK with other territories for the exchange of tax information under CRS are those entered into as at April 17, 2024.”
Switzerland
SNB MIRE_U v1.7 Pre-Announcement Update
The SNB updated the specifications for Minimum Reserves report v1.7, applicable from July 20, 2024. Only guidelines have been changed, with no new templates provided.
Ireland
CBI Taxonomy v2.2.2 for FINREP+ Additional Update
The CBI has published an additional update for taxonomy version 2.2.2. Reporting institutions will be required to use the updated CBI Taxonomy 2.2.2 from the March 31, 2024 reporting period onward.
Luxembourg
Common Reporting Standard: updated lists of Participating Jurisdictions and Reportable Jurisdictions for the reporting year 2023 (due on June 30, 2024)
“Liberia, Morocco, Moldavia, Montenegro, and Uganda have been removed from the list of Participating Jurisdictions.
The Updated List of Reportable Jurisdictions includes 106 jurisdictions. Georgia and Ukraine were added.”
